Tampa Bay Blues

Selwyn Birchwood up on the stage on a warm winter night singing the blues with none other than Damon Fowler, Victor Wainwright, and JP Soars. Damon, Victor, and JP performing as Southern Hospitality mesmerized the crowd. They can all sing and play an instrument. No one will argue that point, but put them together and the blues travels through your body like a warm river shifting from side to side along the river banks with no end in sight. Listening, dancing it doesn’t matter. We’re all the same–floating down a quiet river hoping it’ll never end. Then, Damon invites Selwyn up and it’s like the stars inviting the moon to join them.
